Henning Solberg is virtually sure of a programme with Team Expert for the 2009 WRC

Henning Solberg is almost sure he will have a full WRC campaign in 2009 but won't confirm this until after Wales Rally GB, he told his website.

Solberg also stated that he has yet to decide what manufacturer team he will drive for, but admitted he was considering options with all of them which includes Citroen, M-Sport and Subaru.

He did add that he will be aiming for a win on his home rally (Rally Norway) in an Expert car. Expert (Hennings main sponsor) state that they are close to announcing a package for Henning competing in the 2009 WRC.

Solberg commented on his site:

I'm not lying when I say that I can run for all. The most important thing for me is to get the best possible package that allows me to win.

The teams that come to me, must have a plan. It's about getting more testing, how much I can decide, how the car can be adapted to my style and such things.

Henning is still being linked to a seat with the Adapta team now that Anders Grondal failed to secure the seat for 2009.
