Marcus Gronholm European rallycross debut this weekend in Sweden

Marcus Gronholm will begin his ERC campaign this weekend at Holjes in Sweden this weekend. Speaking to Motorsport News he describes his debut as going to be "difficult" after a two day test session in Sweden last week. He went onto to say that, "I've never driven at the circuit and I have noticed the car is not as comfortable ar as easy to drve as my Ford Focus WRCar."
On his website Gronholm says, "During my two-day practice runs I was impressed by the 600 hk engine, but it is hard to judge the driveability as I still have limited experience, but everything looks very promising. Having long arms I had some space problems when my left arm hit the door due to lack of space, but we''ll adjust the seat and take care of that problem. I also found the steering a little too inexact and we'll be able to solve that problem, too before long. The MSE-Ford behaves well and I had no trouble finding the right set-up for the car. But it''s a little nervous with this new experience competing against so many others at the same time. We'll see."
Gronholm would like to qualify for the final if possible in the MSE Ford Team RS Europe Fiesta ST T16 4x4 but as said earlier this will be difficult.
