Gatebil Ice Festival 2008 Vikingskipet – Hamar: Andreas Mikkelsen wins on ice

The Gatebil Festival of Ice took place over the weekend in Norway and was headlined by the Ice Racing category, featuring The likes of Mikkelsen, Henning and Petter Solberg, Grondal, Ostberg etc etc.

The final was between Andreas Mikkelsen and Anders Grondal with Mikkelsen winning in his Focus WRC. Mikkelsen defeated Henning Solberg and Andreas Eriksson on the way to the final.

Henning Solberg debuted his 600bhp MSE Ford Fiesta ST T16 4x4, which is said to have a stronger engine than Gronholm's and Eriksson's, it also develops more torque.
