Gareth Jones testing his Subaru S12B on asphalt in the Ardeche ahead of Rally Catalunya and Tour de Corse

Gareth Jones was testing over the weekend in the Ardeche region of France in preparation for the two tarmac WRC rallies. Jones last WRC outing was rally Germany where he finished 16th in the JCB, Andrew Vicari sponsored Subaru S12B.

Jones felt the car needed more set-up work following Germany, which turned out to be a rather frought rally, so he contested the Mewla Rally at the end of August to work on those issues and now after his French test should be ready for the asphalt WRC rounds.
