Gareth Jones will go for it on Rally Germany in his newly acquired Subaru Impreza S12B WRC

Gareth Jones told Motorsport News that he is ready to attack in Germany this weekend, even though he hasn't been in action since Rally GB last year. Jones will use a Subaru S12B run by Dom Buckley instead of the 05 Focus he was originally entered in. He hopes to contest Rally Spain and GB later in the year and will be co-driven by David Moynihan this weekend.

Jones told Motorsport News:

It's going to take me a couple of stages to get back into it but I haven't stopped on the fitness side of things so I'll be ready.

Germany's a tough rally but there are similarities with Ireland where I've done quite a bit over the years."
