Gigi Galli is trying to secure a full WRC programme with Stobart for 2009

Gigi Galli has secured enough budget for a partial programme in a Stobart VK M-sport Ford Focus for the 2009 WRC but is actively trying to land a full 12-round campaign, according to Motorsport News.
Speaking to MN Galli said:
I am trying hard to come back and Malcolm Wilson has said some very good things to try and help me.
If it's not Ford I will stay at home."
Galli, who returned to competition on the Bettega Memorial Rallysprint for the first time since breaking his left femur in an accident on Rally Germany in August, also feels he has lost none of his speed.
He explained how his leg is at the Bettega Memorial:
There was no pain, maybe some when I didn't win, but really it was fine. My leg is still not 100 per cent perfect but it will be okay. Mentally I am fine."
