Evgeny Novikov's proposed livery design for the Ford Fiesta RS WRC that the Russian driver will campaign during the 2011 World Rally Championship.
Novikov plans to start his WRC programme with Rally Mexico in March. He said: "At the end of January we were planning to start our season with Rally Portugal, but the mediterranean stages require thorough study. The utmost care is needed during recce and on the event. The 3D profile of the stages showed a lot of negative camber corners with fresh-air drops, which don't forgive mistakes. Also M-Sport were unable to provide a car for Portugal - at the time of our inquiry all the new Fiestas were already allocated.
"It will be my first time at Rally Mexico, but the sooner I try the car in action the quicker I can get into a rhythm, making it easier for me in Europe."
Full details of Novikov's 2011 WRC programme will be revealed in due course.
