Footage from the 2009 Euregio Rally in Holland which was won by Dennis Kuipers in his Subaru Impreza S14 WRC.

Bernhard ten Brinke was the sensation of the event though, claiming the Dutch championship in his first year of trying.

Dutch champion Ten Brinke, who was driving a Van Merksteijn Motorsport Ford Focus WRC 06, commented at the finish: “It has been a super season and I am so happy with winning the Dutch championship,” he said. “I have always raced on circuits and started rallying last March to see if I would enjoy this sport as well. I love it so much that I stopped racing on circuits completely and focus 100% on rallying.

"Thanks to the successful combination of Van Merksteijn Motorsport/Bernhard Ten Brinke and Hans van Goor, we started thinking during the summer break about our chances in the championship and I decided to set my sights fully on winning the title this year. The extremely pleasant cooperation with all members of Van Merksteijn Motorsport made it possible for me to become Dutch rally champion.”
