ADAC Eifel Rallye 2008 Results and Wevers wins his second rally in a week

Eric Wevers won his second rally in a week after winning today's Eifel Rallye. On Sunday he was victorious on the Exotic Green Rally in the Netherlands.

It was a close battle though with Peter van Merksteijn seizing the early lead in his new 07 Focus but slipped back to leave a battle royale between the two favourites, Wevers and last year's winner Mark van Eldik. Wevers though, came through to win but stated he was lucky as didn't make any mistakes. In the S1600 battle it was Aaron Burkhart who finished on top 10s ahead of Ogier, both were preparing for Rally Germany.

In the DRM it was Hermann Gassner who won after a close fought battle between the top three. Kahle was second and Dobberkau third with less than 10s separating them.
