Francis Duval will contest the Condroz Rally in Belgium on November 7th and will drive a Mitsubishi WRC, a car that has never competed on Belgian soil before.
"I am glad to be taking part in this rally which has a special atmosphere, with many spectators and the stages are always fabulous," said Duval. "I'm really looking forward to it.
"This year I will drive a Mitsubishi WRC, a car I'll test next week for the first time. I would like to thank my partners and also my manager Alain Penasse for putting the deal together. My co-driver for this rally will be André Leyh.
"Obviously I'll be there to win, especially to please the many Belgian fans," he added.
Duval will face stiff competition on the Condroz with the likes of Belgian Rally Championship regulars, Snijers, Lietear, Tsjoen, Bruyneel, Loix and Debackere in Kronos 207s, Casier etc, all set to take part.
