The Colin McRae Collection

Colin McRae - Rally Legend is the only authorised DVD tribute, tracing his entire life and career in interviews and stunning action footage. In 2007 a Duke production team was working closely with Colin McRae to produce the definitive DVD biography. Tragically, McRae, his son Johnny and two family friends died in a helicopter crash shortly after filming was complete. With the full agreement of the McRae family, the unseen film was combined with the most incredible action footage from throughout McRae’s career to create the ultimate tribute to a true legend. In exclusive interviews, McRae talks frankly about his career and private life, opening up to friend and biographer Derick Allsop about the highs and lows, the rivals, the cars and more.

Action footage from throughout his stellar career is combined with film from 2007, including the Goodwood Festival of Speed, and appearances at events like the X-Games. There’s also touching contributions from family, including dad Jimmy, and colleagues. The RAC 1995 is the complete review of the unforgettable event where McRae secured his only World Rally Championship, fittingly on British soil. McRae and Spanish rival Carlos Sainz went into the final round of the 1995 World Rally Championship tied on points, and with everything to play for.
