Codemasters have released the first screenshots of the new DiRT 3 game and revealed that a trailer will be unveiled at X Games 2010.
Rich Eddy, comms manager at Codemasters, said: "The ESPN deal is done. A clip from the upcoming DiRT 3 trailer is going to air worldwide during X Games this weekend."
The screenshots feature American superstar Ken Block in his Monster World Rally Team Ford Fiesta at a location in Africa, racing a Ford RS200 on a rallycross circuit and travelling along a snow covered stage.
The games developer recently announced that it was working on a new DiRT title which would incorporate a slightly more British feel.
DiRT 3 will be released on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. Codemasters have yet to set an official release date for the game.
