Kris Meeke's lead is now down to 22.7s after SS10 Rally de Curitiba as he has been struggling with brake problems and having to run first on the road, according to his blog.
The Peugeot UK driver's brakes were boiling at the end of the morning's first stage leaving him to rely on using the handbrake for the next two stages, but it went as well. Not only that but he met some mortorcycles and a child on SS10.
The brake issue will be resolved at service and running first on the road for the last stages shouldn't pose as much of a problem as they are repeats of the morning's ones.

Nicolas Vouilloz was fastest on SS10 and is now only 5.7s behind second placed man Basso. Loix is in a safe fourth at the moment with a 33s gap to Cancio. The teams are now in service before the remaining 3 stages.
