Jim Walsh Cork Forestry Rally 2008 Results: Ray Breen wins at a canter in his Ford Focus WRC 05

Ray Breen and Martin Brady took a rather convincing win on the Cork Forestry Rally, to move into the lead of the 2008 Hankook National Forest Rally Championship. Cork's Owen Murphy was second in his Evo 9, and Gp N winner, as he begins to grind out more consistent results coupled with his blistering pace. 

Drive of the day went to Frank Kelly who, as usual, drove the door handles off the Escort and finished third ahead of many 4WD machines. Colin Britton was 4th in his Evo 9 and John Reid, who led Breen by a point before this round, was 5th in his Corolla WRC.

Dominic McNeill, who was expected to take part in his first event since recently acquiring an ex-John McCarthy Corolla WRC, was a N/S. This would have been McNeill's first event in 18 months.

 It was Breen's rally, all in all, and he lead right from SS1 to the finish and was fastest on 6 of the 9 stages.
