Citroen have begun preparations for the tarmac rounds of the WRC as are currently testing in the Mosel Valley region of Germany. Loeb has won the ADAC Rallye Deutschland for the past five years and is intent on making it six, while Citroen haven't been beaten in Germany since 2001. Germany will be the first of three upcoming WRC tarmac rallies and these rounds could prove to be pivotal as we reach the business end of the 2008 season. The test is for four days with Loeb completing the first two, then Sordo doing the final two days.
Citroen Sport were looking at various settings on the C4 during the test, but were mainly concentrating on the Pirelli tyres. Loeb was present on the first day of the test and feels the tarmac rounds will be crucial to this years championship, both in terms of the driver's title and manufacturer's.
