Citroen Sport gravel test Spain with Loeb and Sordo in preparation for the 2008 Repco Rally New Zealand
As Ford complete their asphalt testing in Germany, Citroen were in Spain completing gravel testing for New Zealand with Sebastien Loeb and Dani Sordo. There is a heatwave in Spain at the minute so conditions were very dry and dusty. The main focus during the four day test centred around suspension settings, particularly at the front of the car.
Olivier Quesnel spoke to wrc.com prior to the test
Do you have any significant developments planned for your car between now and the end of the year?
No new car as such, but some improvements and evolutions here and there. The fact is we have at least 100 engineers working on improving different pieces of the car. These people are working at least eight hours every day, so the car is always getting better. It just happens. Sebastien said to me don't touch the car - but we want to work. We are going to make it better."
