Brice Tirabassi has been confirmed for the third Subaru WRT seat in Rally Catalunya and Tour de Corse

It has been reported on www.wrcisfree.com from a French newspaper article that French ace Brice Tirabassi has been confirmed for the remaining asphalt rounds in a works Subaru Impreza S14 WRC. Tirabassi had just recently announced his withdrawal from this year's IRC, due to reliability problems with his BSA Peugeot 207 S2000 and as a consequence only scored two points in the series.
It had been thought that Markko Martin and Xavier Pons were in line for the seat, according to Autosport last week, but that dosen't appear to be the case now. Tirabassi is something of a tarmac specialist and this opportunity could restore a pretty dismal season for the former JWRC champion.
Looks like Tirabassi will be in a works S14 for the remaining tarmac WRC events
