Madeirian PWRC driver Bernardo Sousa is believed to be testing a Skoda Fabia S2000 and Mitsubishi Evo X to decide what he will use in next year's PWRC. Sousa has been competing in the PWRC for the first time this year in his Red Bull Rallye Team Mitsubishi Evo 9 and is seen, very much, as a future WRC talent.

If Sousa was to go with a Fabia next year this would probably see Raimund Baumschlager's Red Bull Rally team running the car and perhaps one for Aigner. That is, of course, unless Aigner gets into the Citroen Red Bull B team in 09, and one wonders if Baumschlager's concern will be involved in that.

It looks as if the CRT-Kopecky outfit will be one of main the teams running Fabia S2000's next year as Skoda Motorsport will most likely have the cars run by private teams. Baumschlager's Red Bull outfit might make sense to run a Skoda team as Baumschlager has been invoved in the testing and development of the car and of course ran the Red Bull Skoda WRC programme a few years ago with Armin Schwarz.

Another PWRC driver, Martin Prokop, is also thought to be seriously considering a Fabia for next year's PWRC. There are about ten drivers linked to a Fabia for 2009 with the likes of Tamas Turi and Juha Hanninen rumoured, while Mathias Kahle is quite likely to compete in one and Jan Kopecky almost certain.

Sousa will decide between the two for his 2009 PWRC campaign:
