Torchwood star John Barrowman rolled a Prodrive Subaru Impreza WRX STi N15, in the Sweet Lamb complex, while filming a sequence for TV's Fifth Gear programme.

A car enthusiast, Barrowman jumped at the chance to drive the latest Prodrive Impreza N2009 around one of the stages used during Wales Rally GB in the World Rally Championship. After being shown the stage and taught the fundamentals of rally driving by the by former British race and rally driver, Tiff Needell, Barrowman took to the wheel to set his own stage time in the 270 bhp Subaru Impreza, the same car which leads the Production World Rally Championship.

The Torchwood actor (Captain Jack) crashed the Subaru after carrying too much speed into a corner and rolling down a bank. Paramedics had to remove some shattered glass from Barrowman's eye and he was subsequently taken to hospital for precautionary checks according to press reports.

Barrowman commented on the accident afterwards:

I'm lucky to walk away unscathed. I got a ticking off from my mum afterwards.
