Irish rally legend Austin MacHale has confirmed to the event organisers that he will give the Opel Corsa OPC S2000 it's debut on this weekend's Cork'20 as course car. There had been some speculation that this would happen in the weeks leading up to the rally but now the news is confirmed.

Originally Dave Whitehead had stated that the car would make it's debut in Germany, but this is no longer the case as it is believed that the MacHale's have bought into MSD in the last few months and have been assisting with the development of the car.
