Armchair Guide to WalesRallyGB 08: Entry List and Event Itinerary

Welcome to the Armchair Guide to Wales Rally GB
Based in Cardiff and with the service park in Swansea within the UK, the event takes place on the 5th to the 7th of December.
Run on a Gravel surface with 19 Stages compared to 17 in 2007 and has a total of 348.99Km. competitive Special Stages with one Super Special Stage around the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff on Saturday ending that days competitive stages.
The weather in Wales is milder than the rest of Northern Europe with average temperatures for December is between 4 and 9C, the average monthly rainfall is 120mm - usually over the weekend!
Winning in 2007 was Mikko Hirvonen in a Ford Focus RS WRC, with Marcus Gronholm in 2nd and Sebastien Loeb in 3rd for the Citroen Total World Rally Team.
