Paolo Andreucci has been offered a drive by Skoda Italy in the Fabia Super 2000 for the 2009 (CIR) Italian rally championship

Paolo Andreucci has been linked to a seat in a Skoda Fabia S2000 for the 2009 Italian rally championship, according to Italian television station Noi TV.

Skoda's Italian importer is apparently going to run a Fabia S2000 in the CIR next year. Andreucci is the main target for the seat as he dosen't have a contract for 2009 with Ralliart Team Italia, whom he has driven for in the last two seasons.

Skoda Italia team principle Emilio Radaelli, who is a former Audi co-driver to Michele Cinotto as well as becoming head of Audi Sport Europe and Audi Sport Italia, is believed to have made an offer to Andreucci about driving the Fabia in the CIR in 2009.
