Andreas Mikkelsen will test a Citroen C4 WRC in France next month with three other drivers

Andreas Mikkelsen has revealed on BBC Norway that he is scheduled to commence testing a PH-Sport C4 on the 11th September. News about the test was mentioned last month by Mikkelsen, but no other details were forthcoming at the time except that it would be in September.

Mikkelsen previously stated he is testing a C4 to weigh up his options for next year. He recently competed in Ford Focus WRC 07 for the first time in Germany with Ramsport, who he has always driven for and they (Ramsport) are considering becoming a manufacturer team next year.

The PH Sport C4 test will consist of tarmac as well as gravel, though the number of days to be spent testing wasn't disclosed.Mikkelsen also mentioned that three other drivers would be testing alongside him but he didn't mention any names.

Obviously Aava and Rautenbach will probably be present but that leaves a question mark over the third driver. Could it be Ogier who recently conducted a secret test with Citroen Sport at Satory and who Citroen may put in a C4 for Wales Rally GB?
