PG Andersson is entered the opening round of the Norwegian rally championship (Sigdals Rally) in the Skoda Fabia WRC he used to win the Romjulsrally in December.

Andersson is also considering using the ex-Kopecky, Bernard Kongsrud owned, machine on Rally Norway in February, though he may use his own Mitsubishi Evo 9 on the event depending on what deal he can sort out.

Andersson explained the possibilities to Swedish newspaper Varmlands Folkblad:

It will be good. We will have the chance to test before the Sigdals Rally, so we will be better prepared.

Rally Norway is definitely possible, the deadline for entries is Tuesday, and we should have the funding in place.  The Fabia is not that competitive, so I do not want to pay too much. The price must be reasonable. I think the Fabia is about as good as last year's Suzuki.

The second option is to start in Group N. I believe that one of these plans can be realized."

Other notable entrants for the Sigdals Rally include Mads Ostberg in his new Subaru S14 2008 WRC which he will begin testing today after recently taking delivery of the car. Anders Grondal is entered in the Subaru S10 WRC he uses, though starting will depend on if he is well enough after his recent appendicitis and Andreas Mikkelsen is on the entry list in a Group N Subaru Cup Impreza STi.

Another entrant is Sky Sports presenter Alan Jardine in an N4 Subaru Impreza Sti with Motorsport News journalist Sean Moriarty co-driving and the pair also plan to contest Rally Norway.
