Urmo Aava recently tested a Subaru S14 and had a meeting with Prodrive about the possibility of driving one in 2009 but nothing was decided, according to rallyonline.pl.
He stated that the car "wasn't bad" when he drove it, though he added that nothing has been decided and that he has a budget of 2 million euros and is looking for the best offer.
Aava commented that 2 million euros would probably not cover an entire season and that there are many wealthy drivers out there. He added that the teams are also increasing their prices. He has been campaigning a PH Sport Citroen C4 this season and it was thought that he might continue with them next season in the new M2 team.
However, Olivier Quesnel's latest comments, that Rautenbach is the only driver signed for next year and that they are looking for a fast young driver with the full budget, may scupper Aava's chances with Citroen for 09.
